Welcome to TeamMoto
Now in our second year as a established and respected Team among the ranks of several great teams, we are pleased to start into the 08 season with a larger and more established team.
With the close of 07 we had lost a team mate but gained many others and pulled tighter thus stronger as a team. Through out the 07 season in Region 7 we competed and aligned among some of the best racers in the nation. The racing was some of the fastest and toughest we had ever experienced, this only made for a stronger national finish for our team.
For the 08 season we are excited and honored to announce our Pro Ranked Lead Pilot = Eric Francis ” Kawi Kid”. With much review and consideration it only made sense to approach Eric with an offer to ride as a TeamMoto Team Rider. His dedication and fighter style racing but respectful manner fits our team vision to a T. With Eric accepting our offer we hope that TeamMoto can assist Eric to bring a Pro Ranking Top finish to our 08 team.
Also joining our 08 season is Andrew Melville. “Aussie” His awesome demeanor with fighter style racing also reflects our Team vision. His performance from 07 made it impossible to over look his assets to TeamMoto. We are excited to have Andrew riding in Am Vet R/A Open on a “Project 250X” derived open class boat. Andrews boat will also be a joint effort in testing and prototyping for TeamMoto Project 250X.
Though many new riders are among the new TeamMoto we are not loosing any of our original crew. Returning as our Senior Veteran Pilot is Philip Holmes in the Expert Limited R/A class. His regional championship finish in 07 only set the bar higher for our team goals. Phil being our Vet sets the pace for our team. Rob Durkin also returns as a pilot in the Expert Limited R/A class with a new platform of performance introducing in 08. Skip Holmes also returns as TeamMoto owner, manager and pilot in the Expert R/A Open class.
For the 08 season we have expanded our Team to incorporate international racers along with a new arena of Endurance Racing. We are pleased have to formed a alliances with pwcoffshore.com. This helps our Project 250X research to stretch into the offshore racing circuit. The data collected by this team has and will continue to contribute to the Ultra 250 platform. With the vast parts now available for the Ultra its important to work in alliance with expertise of PWCOffshore Team.
Finally I am pleased to welcome the newest addition to the TeamMoto Alliance Team. Newly formed for testing and race support is the TeamMoto Cayman Crew. This crew located in Grand Cayman are official TeamMoto Teammates with full support and logistics. The Cayman Crew is an all Ultra 250 based Team with Project 250X built machines. The Cayman Crew will focus on endurance testing of kits and products in endurance style racing offshore. This Crew of TeamMoto and the alliance of PWCoffshore helps Project 250X continue to spread research around to insure a wide range of cross data results. Together with the team Ultra’s and our alliances we can cover a vast area of test condition.
Finally I would like to thank the following companies for the support and continued efferts to keep this sport alive.
